Abstract
O-H ... O-N and H2C-H ... O-N hydrogen bonds determine the arrangement of the stable radical 1 in the solid state. This leads to a system wi th intermolecular ferromagnetic interactions still rare in solids comp osed of exclusively organic compounds. The experimental findings are c onsistent with properties for solid 1 predicted by MO calculations and geometric considerations.
