Abstract
Complex permittivity spectra of formamide, N-methylformamide and N,N-d imethylformamide have been determined in the frequency range 10 MHz-10 GHz using time domain reflectometry technique at different temperatur es. Static dielectric constant (epsilon0) of formamide and N-methylfor mamide is 64% and 78% respectively larger than the corresponding value for N,N-dimethylformamide. The activation energies (DELTAH(epsilon)) for these amides are also reported.
