Abstract
This paper analyzes how the angular resolution of airborne thermal-ima ging equipment that uses superposition of images during line-by-line s canning of the terrain depends on the angular velocity of the motions of its carrier vehicle. A criterion for the advisability of using thes e superpositions is proposed.
