Abstract
An anisotropic thermoelement is considered for operation in the intern al-optical-reflection mode. Expressions are obtained for the volt-watt sensitivity, detectivity, and time constant as well as for the transm ission and allowable recorded radiation density. The actual characteri stics are given for detectors based on the proposed thermoelement, fab ricated from different materials.
