Ds. Dolgushin et Vf. Anisichkin, CALCULATION OF TEMPERATURE BEHIND A SHOCK FRONT IN CONDENSED MATTER BY THE METHODS OF THERMODYNAMIC SIMILARITY THEORY, Combustion, explosion, and shock waves, 28(6), 1992, pp. 646-649
The thermodynamic similarity theory is shown to be applicable to predi
ct the properties of substances under shock loading. The method is pro
posed for calculating the temperature of a condensed matter behind the
shock front. For a series of simple and complex substances, the calcu
lation results are compared with the available experimental data.
