Abstract
A synergistic effect has been detected of the increase in the yield of acrolein in the oxidation of propylene on the mechanical mixture of ( alpha + beta)CoMoO4 and MoO3 and of the yield of CO and CO2 on a mixtu re Of CoMoO4 and Bi2O3.2MoO3. It has been shown that CoMoO4 generates allyl radicals, which are virtually not desorbed from MoO3, bismuth mo lybdates, and Fe2O3.3MoO3 into the gas phase.
