Abstract
A semiempirical equation describing the potentiometric signal risetime s of fluoride-selective membranes of different compositions was obtain ed in terms of a diffusion model. The maximum number of readings (900 per hour) was calculated which can be attained when fluoride-selective electrodes are used as detectors in continuous analyses.
