Birdshot chorioretinopathy, also known as vitiliginous chorioretinitis
, is a rare and serious retinochoroidopathy. We describe a case in a p
atient with long-standing typical psoriasis. To our knowledge this ass
ociation has not been previously reported in the dermatologic literatu
re. Both psoriasis and chorioretinitis appeared to respond to aromatic
retinoids. The incidence of birdshot chorioretinopathy in patients wi
th psoriasis should be assessed.
