R. Baumann et al., LOCAL ELECTRICAL-CONDUCTIVITY IN POLY(BIS-ALKYLTHIO-ACETYLENE) LAYERSAFTER LASER IRRADIATION, Synthetic metals, 57(1), 1993, pp. 3643-3648
Poly(bis-alkylthio-acetylenes) can be converted from their insulating
into a permanently conducting form by laser irradiation. These polymer
s allow the fabrication of electrically conducting micro patterns, via
a procedure, which takes advantage of their attractive properties and
the laser techniques. The dependence of the resulting DC conductivity
on the laser intensity and the wan speed has been determined for poly
mers with either methyl or ethyl substituents.
