Abstract
The authors analyzed complications of 106 sessions of intensive plasma pheresis (the mean volume of plasma substitution in one session was 2. 9+/-0.61) performed with the use of continuous blood separators in 30 patients with severe forms of Guillain-Barre syndrome, 13 of them were subjected to (sic).
