Abstract
The nuclear transition with energy E(gamma) = 72 keV in Re-187(75) is analyzed. The fraction of the admixture of the M 2 component in this E 1 transition is found to be DELTA = 0.14%. It is shown that calculati ons of internal conversion coefficients (ICC) using the Dirac-Fock wav e functions for both free and bound electrons are in good agreement wi th the experimental K-shell ICC for this transition, where the kinetic energy of the conversion electrons is low, E(k) = 0.307 keV.
