STUDY OF INCLUSIVE K(S)(0)-MESON PRODUCTION IN PI-GEV(A AND K+P INTERACTIONS AT 11.2)

The results of an experimental study and a theoretical analysis, accor ding to the model of quark-gluon strings, of inclusive K(S)0-meson pro duction in pi+A(A = Be,Cu) and K+p interactions at energy 11.2 GeV in the GIPERON setup at IHEP are presented. The invariant cross sections F(x(F)) and the A dependence have been measured for these processes in the region of fragmentation of the incident particle, 0.4 less-than-o r-equal-to x(F) less-than-or-equal-to 1 and p(T) less-than-or-equal-to 0.3 GeV/c. The experimental results are compared with previous data o n the K+A(A = Be,Cu,Pb) interactions.
