Abstract
The crystal structures of the inclusion compounds of (hydroxydiphenylm ethyl)-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolane with methanol and ethanol have been elucidated, Their isothermal kinetics of desolvation have been studied , Both lose the guest in a single deceleratory step, and a kinetic mod el based on a diffusion mechanism was found to be the best description for this process.
