A submillisecond resistive heating technique under high pressure (0.12
GPa) has been used to measure selected thermophysical properties of b
oth solid and liquid beryllium. Data have been obtained between room t
emperature and 2900 K. Results on enthalpy, volume expansion, electric
al resistivity, and sound velocity measurements are presented.
