Abstract
At Kakogawa Works, application of small-size sinter ore has been inves tigated to improve sinter productivity and reduce manufacturing costs. Under operating conditions of high pulverized coal rate, burden distr ibution adjusted to small-size sinter application has enabled reductio n of the mesh of sintering plant screen and blast furnace ore bin scre en to 3 mm with keeping high productivity.
