Abstract
At Sollac Dunkerque, different steel grades have special requirements concerning cleanliness. Three grades are particularly sensitive : car body (IFS), steel for cans (DWI) and sour gaz tubes (HIC). They reach 20 % of the total production. The plan of actions to improve steel cle anliness and the control methods are presented.
