Abstract
We present Raman measurements performed to study the experimental acce ss to doped fullerene polymers. The polymeric orthorhombic AC(60) comp ound could be obtained by slow cooling the high temperature fee phase and by quenching with subsequent annealing. The various phases after q uenching and during annealing were studied in detail. No evidence for a direct doping of undoped C-60 to the polymeric AC(60) phase was foun d. Due to the local character of the doping process the formation of A (3)C(60) clusters is observed. The same results were obtained from dop ing experiments performed with undoped polymeric structures like photo transformed and pressure polymerized C-60.
