Abstract
Polymerized forms of alkali-doped C-60 display transport properties va stly different from their unpolymerized counterparts. We here describe structural (X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy) a nd de resistivity measurements of polymerized AC(60) (A = K, Rb) at ze ro and high pressures. The structural and electronic properties are ri ch, and evidence is found for unusual phase transitions in both materi als.
