Abstract
The companion-form system matrix of an electronic network may be incon venient or inappropriate for certain applications. In pole computation s, it may produce values which are less accurate at certain points in the s-plane. In the state-space analysis, it is not a very suitable fo rm for input/output computations especially in large system networks w here iterative methods are used. The paper presents the derivation of a similar matrix that is in a more desirable form under the above-ment ioned circumstances. Some examples are also given to illustrate the de rivation process.
