Abstract
Wild isolates of the biological species Saccharomyces paradoxus Batsch inskaia was found for the first time in Far East Asia (Russian contine ntal region) and identified by genetical and molecular criteria. Strai ns of both species S. cerevisiae Hansen and S. kluyveri Phaff et al. w ere also isolated.
