This paper describes the results of calorimetric measurement of the en
ergies of combustion of cyclohexyl acetate at standard temperature and
heat capacity over the temperature range 5-310 K. The data were used
to calculate the thermodynamic functions of crystalline and liquid cyc
lohexyl acetate. The results obtained in studying the kinetics of its
alkaline hydrolysis are also given, and the data are analyzed with equ
ations for a first-order reaction.
