Abstract
We give a direct proof of the function space representation for the Z( n) Sklyanin algebra (SA). We show that a class of finite representatio n for the Z(n) SA can indeed be obtained by properly choosing the base functions in the function space representation. In particular, we giv e the base functions which can yield the well-known fundamental repres entation of the Z(n) SA.
