Abstract
A radial diffusion equation for a rf-driven current density is derived from the Fokker-Planck equation in the presence of anomalous radial t ransport. This diffusion equation can be solved by assuming a specific anomalous transport model for a diffusivity and a pinch velocity as a function of the radial parameter.
