Abstract
We report a case of a saccular atherosclerotic aneurysm of the thoraci c aorta which was incorporated almost entirely within the upper lobe o f the right lung. The aneurysm ruptured into the lung causing massive haemoptysis and sudden death. We have been unable to find a similar ca se reported in the literature.
