Abstract
The thermal decomposition of Maneb, Zineb and Mancozeb has been invest igated by means of thermal analysis techniques. IR, X-ray diffraction, gas chromatography, high pressure liquid chromatography, etc. were ca rried out on the samples, which were withdrawn at various stages durin g thermogravimetric testing or during thermal decomposition in vacuum at constant temperature. The mechanisms of the thermal decomposition a nd the molecular structures of Maneb, Zineb and Mancozeb are proposed.
