Abstract
Tannic acid, propyl gallate, gallic acid and ellagic acid were tested for their inhibitory effects on selected food-borne bacteria by the we ll assay technique. Tannic acid and propyl gallate were inhibitory whe reas gallic acid and ellagic acid were not.
