Abstract
The synthesis of new pendantly functionalized polyaromatic thermoplast ics using pre-functionalized monomers is reported. These will have pot ential applications as either toughening agents in thermosetting resin s or, with the incorporation of crosslinking moieties, as matrices in their own right.
