Abstract
Investigation of the culture medium of Penicillium chrysogenum THOM (c ontaminant of two strains of Ceratocystis fimbriata) led to the isolat ion of the sesquiterpene PR toxin (1) and 2-[(2-hydroxypropionyl)amino ]benzamide (2) which have never been isolated as a natural product.
