Abstract
Fourteen coordination compounds of lanthanide? beta-phenylacrylate, we re synthesized and. characterized as REL(3)(RE=Y, La-Yb, HL=beta-C6H5C H = CHCOOH) by chemical analysis, IR and NMR spectra and X-ray structu re analysis. The crystal of ErL(3) crystallizes in monoclinic system w ith,pace group P2(1). Each Er atom was coordinated with seven oxygen a toms from six beta-phenylacrylate groups forming a distorted pentagona l bipyramid configuration.
