Vv. Anikiev et Ai. Obszhirov, INFLUENCE OF LOW-TEMPERATURE HYDROTHERMS ON THE GAS-COMPOSITION OF THE BOTTOM WATER IN THE OKHOTSK SEA, Okeanologia, 33(3), 1993, pp. 360-366
Distribution of methane, dioxide of carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, propane
and ethane in the bottom waters of the Okhotsk Sea was investigated du
ring 1985 - 1990 years. Anomal distribution of methane may be connecte
d with periodical destruction of its crystal hydrates in the bottom se
diments, or with constant unloading of the oil and gas deposites on sh
elf of the Sakhalin Island.
