Abstract
A method of remote measuring of oil film thickness on polluted water s urface by a fluorescent lidar is suggested. The method was tested in a laboratory experiment. The eximer laser was used as a source of fluor escent excitation. It was shown that this method can be used for remot e determination of the oil films on polluted water surfaces. A possibi lity of using eximer lasers for remote determination of oil film thick ness is discussed.
