Abstract
Racah parameters A, B, C and spin-orbit coupling coefficients zeta(3d) are obtained directly from the energy formula oi the weakest bound el ectron and the experimental values of the ionization energy adjusted b y a parameter dk. The results are coincided with the experimental valu es very well. The relationship between the parameter zeta and the weig hted averages of each electron gradual ionization energy in configurat ions is discussed.
