Abstract
Mixture Design and a Chromatographic Response Function were used to st udy the effect of different organic solvents as modifiers on the Rever sed Phase (C-18) High Performance Thin Layer Chromatographic separatio n of three amino acid hydroxamates (Arginine hydroxamate, Threonine hy droxamate, and Histidine hydroxamate) . Both 3 solvent (methanol, acet onitrile and tetrahydrofuran) and 4 solvent (methanol, acetonitrite, t etrahydrofuran and acetone) systems were studied.
