Abstract
The distinguishing features and structures of polyaniline thermal dope d with dodecylbenzenesulfonate at different temperatures without the u se of auxiliary solvent have been investigated, The exothermic complex ion has been observed during doping process at elevated temperature by calorimeter studies, which results in the formation of a transition r esponsible for the delocalized polarons observed by UV-Vis spectrum, T he resulting complex is shown to form a layered structure with strongl y anisotropic characteristics as determined by X-ray diffraction measu rement.
