Abstract
Presented here is a generalized small signal analysis approach that is based on both the Taylor's series expansion and the state-plane diagr am. A generalized discrete small signal model for double-ended dc-to-d c resonant converter operating in the continuous conduction mode is al so given. Based on the derived model, the frequency responses for two transfer functions are obtained, namely, the line-to-output and the co ntrol-to-output transfer functions. The technique presented here is ve rified by applying it to the conventional series resonant converter wh ose small signal analysis is known.
