Abstract
We studied a system which allows a photoprotection of pesticides. We r ealized a singlet-singlet energy transfer between DEVRINOL(R) (donor) and 9,10 - diphenylanthracene (acceptor). The two molecules were adsor bed on silica. This transfer reaction is competitive towards the photo degradation of DEVRINOL(R). The kinetics of degradation were studied b y HPLC. The increasing of DEVRINOL(R) lifetime is ca 140%.
