The properties of neutrons scattered from a circular surface-of-revolu
tion paraffin scatterer have been investigated using both the MCNP cod
e and pulsed neutron time-of-flight measurements. The scatterer has be
en successfully used for measuring the light output of a small-size NE
-213 detector.
