Abstract
The problem is considered of small-angle reflection and transmision of charged particles in the case of grazing incidence of a broad beam up on the surface of a flat scatterer of finite thickness. Simple analyti cal expressions are obtained for the average energy loss of reflected and transmitted particles taking into account mutual correlation betwe en scattering and transmission processes.
