Abstract
Diffusion and adsorption of several C-6 hydrocarbons in small commerci al silicalite crystals has been studied by the chromatographic method using a wall-coated capillary column. Both the kinetic and equilibrium data are generally consistent with the results of earlier gravimetric measurements with large laboratory-synthesized crystals, thus confirm ing both the validity of the wall-coated column technique for measurin g diffusion and the essential similarity in the diffusional behavior o f large and small silicalite crystals.
