Abstract
The magnetic susceptibility, chi, has been measured between 1.5 and 30 0K for three high quality icosahedral quasicrystals of Al-Cu-Fe with e lectrical resistivities in the range 4.5-10 mOMEGA-cm. After correctio n for the important contribution from minute amounts of Fe clusters, t he magnetic susceptibility is found to be diamagnetic for all samples and temperatures.
