PE-PA multilayer compound foils are frequently used packing materials
on the foodstuff sector. Remnants from the processing are high-quality
raw materials but provide mixtures whose composition varies considera
bly due to the diversity of recipes. The development of products presu
pposes, however, a sufficient knowledge of the characteristic values o
f the materials and of their boundaries. The results from a study on t
he utilization of foil residues shown in this article provide the basi
s for a selective use of such materials.
