We present a retrospective study on a series of 850 sperm donors who c
ame to CECOS-Lyon for the last 17 years. This study allows to determin
e different parameters on the social situation of donors : age, sociop
rofessional category, number of children etc. The donor population pre
sents a great homogeneity in its constant renewal. From these data it
seems easier to adapt the information messages to a certain population
of men to make them aware of sperm donation.
