Abstract
April 1985 : a tuyere probe is installed on blast furnace 2 at Sollac Fos Works. It allows to characterize the coke state in the hearth and to define a method to determine the cohesive zone parameters. April 19 91 : a movable tuyere probe is operational. The variability between tu yere scattering, the variations to different blast furnaces operating conditions or feed coke quality can be studied.
