Abstract
Models for the evaluation of total diffuse and specular reflectance an d transmittance components for scattering samples measured on an integ rating sphere are presented. It is demonstrated that for typical solar energy surfaces serious errors can be the result of incorrect interpr etation of the detector signals. Methods to avoid such errors are pres ented.
