Abstract
Photometrical study of the swirl Reiner-gamma on the <<Zond-6>> pictur e base and others remote-sensing studies of it showed that the swirl r eflecting layer has anomalous properties. Possibly, an extraordinary p ressing of lunar dust occurres. Prevalence of immature soil in the upp er layer indicates to a young age of the anomaly. Using known cases of the artificial pressing of lunar soil, it is shown that the Reiner-ga mma albedo anomaly can be considered as an imprint of a single cometar y impact that happened 40.10(6) years ago. This epoch coincides with t hat of periodical global catastrophes on the Earth which might be prov oked by massed cometary intrusion in to the inner part of the Solar sy stem. Possibly, the intrusion is an effect of outer influences on the Oort's clouds stability.
