Abstract
We present the methods of threshold photoelectron spectroscopy (TPES) and time of flight photoelectron spectroscopy (TOF-PES) developed in O rsay which use the pulsed character of the synchrotron radiation sourc e; ACO (1973-1988) and Super-ACO (1989). The present performances of t he techniques are illustrated by recent spectra of molecular oxygen an d nitrogen. The trends towards high resolution and ZEKE spectroscopy a re discussed.
