Abstract
Epoxidized linseed oil-free fatty acids were reacted with aniline and three isomers of toluidine, anisidine, and chloroaniline in such a man ner that the carboxylic groups remained free. The prepared adducts wer e evaluated as antioxidants and antirads for styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) vulcanizates. It was found that 2 phr of orthotoluidine, paraani sidine, orthochloroaniline, and aniline adducts were the best antioxid ants and/or antirads. (C) 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
