Abstract
A theory of anisotropic size effects (ASE) in pure bulk single crystal s of Bi-type semimetals al helium temperatures in arbitrary magnetic f ields has been developed. In the model of three electron and one hole valleys, the expressions for the 'quasi-Hall transverse electric field , the magnetoconductivity. the magneto-thermoelectric power of phonon drag, and the transverse Nernst - Ettingsgausen effect have been obtai ned. Quantum oscillations of the kinetic coefficients of the semimetal s associated with ASE have been investigated. It has been demonstrated that temperature dependence of the amplitude of these oscillations is significantly different from Shubnikov - de Haas and magnetophonon re sonance oscillations. In compensated materials the oscillations of tra nsverse magnetoresistance and longitudinal thermoelectromotive force o f the phonon drag are gigantic.
