E. Butkus et al., H-1-NMR SPECTROSCOPIC STUDY OF THE INTERACTION BETWEEN CYCLODEXTRINS AND BICYCLO[3.3.1]NONANES, Journal of inclusion phenomena and molecular recognition in chemistry, 26(4), 1996, pp. 209-218
The formation and structure of inclusion complexes of 2,6- and 2,9-sub
stituted bicyclo[3.3.1]nonanes with alpha- and beta-cyclodextrin (CD)
has been investigated by high-resolution H-1 NMR spectroscopy. alpha-
and P-CD were found to form 1:1 inclusion complexes and the binding co
nstants were estimated from titration studies. 2D ROESY experiments pr
ovided insight into the structure of the complexes.
