Abstract
A simple discriminative typing method for Clostridium difficile has be en developed. Sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresi s of whole-cell proteins and restriction enzyme analysis are relativel y simple techniques but are difficult to evaluate, especially the rest riction enzyme analysis. Immunoblotting and restriction fragment lengt h polymorphism typing facilitate simple discrimination of patterns.
